BARTER
in the flea-market
by kilo or by bit:
there are words.
Moths and rats and others yearn,
the(ir) drooling stretching down
after a free piece of cloth,
in vain,
they haven’t lions* for change
they’ve also emmigrated:
to the zoo,
they’re there a split second,
then they’re not just as the antiques
from the verb museum.
*lions = also, translation of the currency used by Bulgarians,
Moldovans & Romanians
